This is a much sought after two-day intensive course designed to give you the skills that will take your practice to a new level. It is ideally suited to a newly appointed practice manager or a senior administrator who would like to advance their career. It brings the very latest in management best practice and prepares you to grow and adapt to the ever-changing environment of general practice.

The course is fully interactive, and we encourage dialogue amongst trainees who often have valuable experiences to share. And whilst our courses are pre designed to ensure all relevant areas are covered, we allow some time to meet the specific needs of the trainee or address specific management concerns that they may be encountering. At this stage, we in healthcare are familiar with the challenges of meeting GDPR guidelines in day to day practice. This course designed for GP and Healthcare settings addresses the challenges in a practical way with the benefits of our experience over the past two years. GDPR very significantly increased the obligations and responsibilities for your practice in how you collect, use and protect personal data. At the centre of the new law is the requirement for your practice to be fully transparent about how you are using and safeguarding personal data, and to be able to demonstrate accountability for your data processing activities. This course will give you the skills to review your current GDPR policy and ensure you are meeting your requirements under law in the most efficient and practical manner for your practice.

This course is designed for Practice Managers and or Senior Administration Staff who are responsible for the patient data in your care. It will equip the attendee with the skills to audit the practice for data protection compliance, identify the gaps in your policies and procedures, and prepare a plan to ensure you are fully compliant to Data Protection

Infection prevention is critically important for all healthcare settings. According to the World Health Organisation, effective infection prevention and control reduces health care-associated infections by at least 30%. Never has this been more important in our healthcare settings. This course is designed for Healthcare and administration staff in any healthcare service provider It provides practical training to implement Infection Prevention and Control practices that will become an intuitive way of working regardless of staff experience or skillset.

This course if for anyone who works in healthcare or any profession where infection control and management is required. The course will demonstrate why an effective Infection prevention and control (IPC) policy in your organisation is crucial to the health and wellbeing of your staff and patients or service users. You will learn how to carry out an IPC risk assessment and put a plan in place to manage those risks. We will give a practical demonstration on effective hand hygiene, personal protection equipment and injection safety. Finally we will address the appropriate control and decontamination of the practice waste.
