Infection prevention is critically important for all healthcare settings. According to the World Health Organisation, effective infection prevention and control reduces health care-associated infections by at least 30%. COVID-19 has caused unimaginable suffering and created significant challenges for practices and practice staff to operate differently and comply with very stringent Infection Control Procedures. Never has this been more important in our healthcare settings.
